FRANKLIN, TN (November 05, 2007) - Solveras Payment Systems, a leading provider of electronic payment solutions for businesses, announced today it has acquired the assets of Smart Payment Solutions, LLC (SPS), an Arlington, VA-based full service payments provider specializing in ACH processing and check recovery products. Matt Whitaker, Smart Payment Solutions' founder and president, will become a vice president of Solveras. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
